At My Cosmetic Surgery, we are privileged to introduce you to Dr. Iliana García, a dedicated Cuban general practitioner who serves as a Nurse Practitioner in Miami, Florida. With her extensive experience in providing medical services and a commitment to enhancing patients’ well-being, Dr. García has been an invaluable addition to our team since 2018.

Dr. Iliana García’s journey in the medical field is marked by a strong passion for patient care and a dedication to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. Her journey began with her completion of a PhD in Medicine at the Institute of Medical Sciences, Carlos J. Finlay Santa Clara, Cuba, in 1993.

After completing her education, she embarked on a journey of providing primary medical care. She worked as a family doctor from 1993 to 1995, where she was responsible for diagnosing diseases and prescribing medications to patients.

In 1996, Dr. García moved to the United States to further her medical career. She worked as a Medical Assistant at Westchester Pediatric Hospital from 1998 to 2006, where she honed her skills in patient care by taking vital signs, drawing blood, and administering vaccines.

Her commitment to excellence led her to pursue further education, and in 2006, she obtained her certification as a Registered Nurse. Her career continued to flourish as she worked at the Kendall Regional Medical Center from 2006 to 2018. During this period, she administered medications, conducted medical examinations, and provided essential care to patients.

In 2018, Dr. Iliana García achieved another milestone by completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Miami Regional University. With her advanced training, she continued to expand her medical expertise and embarked on a role at the Emergency Room of the Kendall Regional Center. In this capacity, she played a crucial role in diagnosing diseases and prescribing necessary medications.

At My Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. García’s expertise finds new dimensions as she serves as a Nurse Practitioner. Her contributions extend to non-surgical treatments, including Sclerotherapy and dermal fillers such as Restylane.
