Dr. Núñez’s reputation extends beyond his exceptional medical skills; he is renowned for his compassionate approach and his dedication to addressing patients’ concerns and uncertainties before each surgery. Dr. Julio J. Núñez embarked on his medical journey at the University of Santiago Compostela, Spain, where he attended the School of Medicine. He then pursued an specialization in Anesthesia, graduating from the esteemed Anesthesia Program at the University of Miami in January 1987. With a commitment to excellence, he obtained the Flex Certification for the state of New York and holds medical licenses from Florida, New York, and Puerto Rico.

His extensive professional experience includes serving as the Director of the Anesthesia Department of the Carolina Ophthalmic Institute and the Hato Rey Community Hospital. Dr. Núñez’s dedication is further reflected in his Certification License of the Anti-Drug Administration.

Since 2010, Dr. Núñez has been a vital part of the My Cosmetic Surgery anesthesia team, contributing his expertise to ensuring a seamless surgical experience for our patients.

Dr. Julio J. Núñez’s role involves administering anesthetic agents and meticulously monitoring patients’ well-being before, during, and after surgical procedures.
