Functions performed in My Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Julio J. Núñez is specifically trained to administer anesthetic agents to the patient before a surgical procedure and perfectly masters the different analgesic techniques used in surgery.

Before starting the surgery, the anesthesiologist interviews each patient and performs an extensive physical and psychological evaluation with the aim of determining the different possibilities before the operation and prevent any possible complications.

During the intervention, the anesthesiologist stays with the patient the whole time, making sure he is comfortable and safe.

He is responsible for the meticulous monitoring of all patients’ vital functions and organisms during surgery.

While the surgeon performs the surgical procedure, the anesthesiologist controls the proper functioning of the monitors and systems, as well as checking the anesthetic drugs.

After the operation, the anesthesiologist gives the patient the treatment for postoperative pain and nausea and advises the most appropriate time to return to drink or eat.
