Luke Gutwein, MD Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Luke Gutwein is an American plastic and reconstructive surgeon with extensive medical training in the field of surgery.

He is a member of prestigious professional organizations and certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

He has published numerous amounts of research and innovations on medical techniques and devices.

Dr.Gutwein then joined My Cosmetic Surgery’s team in 2018.

Studies and professional experience

Dr. Gutwein earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Indiana, in 2003.

He then trained as a doctor at the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2007, an internationally recognized leading institution in medical research.

He then worked in San Vicente Hospital’s Emergency Hospital for two years, allowing him to strengthen his knowledge and ability to diagnose patients.

He then moved to the University of Florida, in Gainesville, to receive training in the specialty of Surgery, and there he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Gutwein also worked in the city’s Veterans Hospital Surgical Intensive care Unit.

Dr. Gutwein returned to the University of Indiana to complete his studies in the Specialty of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2013.

He was also an Anatomy professor in Granada at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of St. George.
