Dr. Moredo Romo’s professional journey is marked by a dedication to advancing medical knowledge and patient care. She served as the Secretary of the Cuban Society of Dermatology and an Assistant Professor at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba. Her collaboration in research, training, and joint projects with specialists worldwide underscores her commitment to the advancement of dermatological practices.

Since 2016, Dr. Moredo Romo has been an integral part of My Cosmetic Surgery, bringing her extensive knowledge and experience in Cosmetology to enhance our comprehensive care approach.

Dr. Edelisa Moredo Romo’s educational journey began at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba, where she honed her skills and passion for dermatology. She completed her specialization in General Medicine at the University Hospital “Calixto García” in 1990, followed by her studies in Dermatology from 1996 onwards.

Her commitment to patient care led her to work at prestigious medical institutions in Havana, such as the “Calixto García” University Hospital and the “Juan Manuel Márquez” Pediatric Teaching Hospital. She also served as the Head of the Dermatology Service at the Elpidio Berovides Teaching Polyclinic.

Dr. Moredo Romo’s contributions to the medical field extend beyond her clinical work. She has an extensive list of published scientific research, active participation in international events in her specialty, and even held the responsibility of overseeing the Cuban Journal of Dermatology.

Her pursuit of excellence also took her to the United States, where she expanded her expertise by studying Coordination of Clinical Trials and Cosmetics. She trained at Mayo Clinics for dermatological research and shared her knowledge by teaching Cosmetology in academies.

Dr. Edelisa Moredo Romo’s diverse training includes areas like Pediatric Dermatology, Neonatal Dermatology, Oncological Dermatology, Dermatology Surgery, Dermocosmetics, Laser Therapy, Plasma Therapy, Cryosurgery, and Dermatological Reconstructive Surgery.
